BRETTON WOODS CONFERENCE

The Bretton Woods Agreement of 1944, lead to the establishment of a monetary management system consisting of rules of financial and commercial relationship between the United States, Canada, Western Europe, Japan and Australia. The significance of the Bretton Woods system was that, it was the earliest example of a monetary order which was designed and negotiated as a whole to in order to govern monetary issues among the independent countries.

In HasalMUN 2019, the attendants are expected to simulate the Bretton Woods Conference 1994. This simulation has the aim to raise excitement and curiosity among the young participants regarding financial milestones and economical issues in the history. Furthermore, it also has a goal to create a platform where the delegates have the chance to create their own approaches  on these topics and come up with various point of views.
